The new meazzanine floor, overlooking the dissection room, has been equipped with 25 custom built Britannia display-storage units each 2430 mm high x 1000 mm wide x 500 mm deep and based on Britannia Beta double skin shelving.
 
The top of each unit is a lockable compartment with a shelf for the secure storage of items not on display.
 
Display objects are frequently removed and replaced so all the display shelves have been covered with 6 mm toughened glass to enhance the display and increase durability.
 
Concealed low voltage LED warm white lighting strips have been added to the front vertical edges of the units to further enhance the display.
