Pallet Racking Projects

Viamaster Transport Ltd - Phase 1 (1821 pallets), Phase 2 (1290 pallets)

Britannia Storage Systems were selected to put forward new proposals for phase 2 of the Viamaster Transport Ltd ambitious growth plan in the area of their controlled warehousing division having successfully completed phase 1 two years previously.

The brief was to utilise the maximum height in the warehouse with the flexibility to store random pallets of any width or depth with the minimum loss of space.

Britannia Storage proposed 6600mm high racks with 3300mm wide x 1100mm deep bays with 5 levels in the height all with 32mm close boarded decking with a capacity of 3 tonne to each level.

This combination of width and depth coupled with every level boarded out gave Viamaster Transport Ltd customers the flexibility of storage to fill phase one in just 18 months and phase 2 generating a high level of interest.

Andrew Warrington Managing Director of Viamaster Transport Ltd congratulated Britannia Storage on a Job well done on time and within budget.
