Entomology Department

Modified Viking 522 cabinets were chosen for the storage of the dry insect collection by the entomology department of the Zoological Museum in Copenhagen.

These full height, double-door cabinets are carefully crafted to give extra space in front and behind the doors to allow circulation of air or fumigants (if required).

The exceptional construction includes an elastomeric seal that provides airtight, dustproof protection to preserve entomology collections for generations to come.

The cabinets were configured to each hold 50 of the Museum's existing entomology drawers to give very effective storage space utilisation.
